The Symbolism behind our symbol

Most pieces that enter Born Again Consignment Parlor have a rich history — and the possibility of a new beginning. That sentiment is woven into the shop’s identity, perhaps most notably in its logo.

Born out of the ashes of the pandemic, the logo embodies the essence of the Phoenix – rebirth, renewal, and resilience. Just like the mythical bird, we breathe new life into previously cherished items, finely curating modern, vintage, and novelty offerings that reflect our patrons’ personalities.

Three years into our story, we’ve collected more than clothing and curiosities. We’ve collected memories. Each consigned piece arrives with a past, spends a little time at the parlor, and is born again when it walks out the door.

In a way, that is what makes consignment feel so personal. Nothing is truly starting from scratch. The stories and meaning attached to these pieces don’t disappear when they change hands. They simply continue their journey carried by someone new.

And perhaps that is the heart of Born Again. We don’t just give gently-used items a new home; we give them the chance to mean something again. There is something special about knowing that the things we part with can still bring joy to someone else.
