Salvation for your Stuff
Your cherished items have lived a good life. But some pieces? They’re ready to be reborn. At Born Again Consignment Parlor, we help your previously-loved possessions find new believers.
The Road to Redemption
“Do you buy items outright?” This is one of the questions we hear most often. The short answer? Not usually. As a small business, we simply don’t have deep enough pockets to purchase every treasure that walks through our door.
Instead, we practice the fine art of consignment. Here’s how it works:
You bring us the pieces you’re ready to part with, and we do the heavy lifting. We price them, merchandise them, market them, tell their story when we can, and match them with shoppers who’ll love them as much as you did.
When your item sells, you receive your share of the blessing:
40% of the final selling price in cash, or
45% in store credit, because every good deed deserves a little bonus.
In other words, you provide the treasure. We provide the congregation of treasure hunters. Together, we give great things the second life they deserve!
The Ten Commandments of Consigning
Ready to clear your closet, earn a little cash, and give your favorite pieces a second chance at life? Before you stop by, follow these Ten Commandments of Consigning at Born Again Consignment Parlor.
Thou shalt...
Know what we love. We accept high-quality, seasonal items, including women's and men's apparel and accessories; home décor and furnishings; books, games, and leisure items; and gifts and unique novelty merchandise.
Bring us quality with character. As a general rule, we’re looking for clothing that originally retailed between $100 and $500, along with storied pieces that have personality. If an item sparks a conversation the moment someone sees it, we’re interested.
Honor the age of thy treasures. Whether it's contemporary fashion from the last 2 to 3 years, vintage pieces that are 20+ years old, or antiques with 100+ years of history, we're always looking for items with lasting appeal. Regardless of their age, items should be clean, in good to excellent condition, and ready for their next chapter.
Know what does’t belong. To keep our collection curated, we do not accept high-end luxury brands (Louis Vuitton, Prada, and similar labels); fast fashion (Shein, Forever 21, Fashion Nova, and similar brands); electronics, appliances, or technical gadgets; collectibles, furniture, or linens; and children's clothing, toys, or equipment.
Keep it to ten. Bring up to 10 items per visit for review. Matching sets — such as business suits, glassware, candleholders, etc. — count as a single grouping, so it's perfectly fine if a complete set takes you over the guideline.
Arrive on the appointed days. Bring your items between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, then complete our simple consignment form.
Make yourself at home. While our team carefully reviews your items, browse the shop, relax in our speakeasy (yes, we have a speakeasy!), or enjoy a cup of coffee. Treasure hunting and unwinding make an excellent pairing.
Choose the next chapter for unaccepted items. Not every piece is the right fit for our store. You're welcome to take unaccepted items home, or we'll happily donate them to local nonprofits or individuals who can give them a new life.
Reap thy rewards. When your items sell, you’ll receive 40% of the final selling price in cash or 45% in store credit. Many consignors choose store credit because it goes even further toward their next great find.
Remember the timeline. Our consignment period lasts 60 to 72 days, so remember to pick up any unsold items before the end of the term. Items remaining after the consignment period will be donated so they can continue their journey.
Follow these Ten Commandments, and consigning becomes a simple, rewarding experience where every great piece has the opportunity to begin a remarkable second life.
