Salvation for your Stuff

Your cherished items have lived a good life. But some pieces? They’re ready to be reborn. At Born Again Consignment Parlor, we help your previously-loved possessions find new believers.

What is consignment?

We get tons of calls from prospects asking if we buy pieces. And the answer is… yes and no. Being a small business means cash flow is tight, which makes it difficult for us to purchase items directly from individuals.

However, there is another option – consignment.

To “consign” means to “deliver (something) to a person’s custody, typically in order for it to be sold.”

Under this arrangement, you (the consignor) entrust your goods to our shop (the consignee) to sell on your behalf and split the profit. Once the item sells, you can receive your share in cash or credit, with the amount you receive depending on your choice.

Why consign with us?

At Born Again Consignment Parlor, we go above and beyond these channels to find a second life for your cherished possessions by:

  • Pricing them competitively, and continuing to reduce the price for those that have not sold within a specific time period

  • Offering fair splits when items sell:

    • Cash: 60/40 (consignee/consignor split)

    • Credit: 55/45 (consignee/consignor split)

  • Displaying them in a warm, inviting retail space

  • Styling or staging them so shoppers can see the potential in each piece

  • Telling their story, when possible, to facilitate a meaningful exchange

  • Making personal recommendations based on the shopper’s needs and wants

  • Promoting your very “Sunday bests” through search engines, via social media, and in our weekly newsletter

Bring your items in, ask questions, or just come vibe with us.

We’ll take it from there. Contact us or visit.

How to consign

Once you’ve decided to release what no longer serves you by consigning with Born Again Consignment Parlor, here’s what to do:

  1. Review our style. We look for gently-loved, name-brand, and vintage pieces in excellent condition.

  2. Select up to 10 items that are ready for a new life.

  3. Drop off items during shop business hours so we can review and select what fits our needs, price based on market value, style, and sell.

  4. Decide how to handle items that don’t make the cut: Pick them up from our shop within one week, or allow us to donate them to a local charity.

  5. Earn cash or credit when your items have been purchased: 40% of the final selling price in cash, or 50% in store credit to use toward your next find.

No appointment. No pressure. No judgment. We believe in fair splits, transparent pricing, and clear communication so you always know where things stand.
